FAQs

Q?

What happens if my icemaker quits making ice?

A.

Simply call Surety Refrigeration to inform us that your icemaker needs service. We will ask a couple of easy questions to insure that the icemaker is having mechanical issues (is the water turned on? Is the power turned on?). We will arrange for our service technicians to repair the icemaker.

Q?

Does the icemaker have to be insured?

A.

Yes, we require that you insure the leased icemaker. If you do not, fees may be added to your monthly payment to cover insurance.

Q?

How do I pay my monthly lease payment?

A.

Surety Refrigeration can set up an automatic debit authorization (ACH) from your bank account. Or if it is more convenient for you to pay by check we invoice each month on or around the 8th of the month. Invoices are due on receipt. We also can arrange to charge your credit card each month. We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.

Q?

What is the typical lease?

A.

Normally it is called an operating lease. Surety Refrigeration retains ownership of the icemaker and for your business the equipment is considered a monthly operating expense.

Q?

Will my monthly lease payment change over time?

A.

No, it will stay the same great price so you will have a predicable monthly expense which can help you budget effectively.

Q?

What happens to my existing icemaker?

A.

When your new icemaker is installed, the technicians from Surety Refrigeration can remove and dispose of your old icemaker for a nominal fee.

Q?

Who will handle service calls when needed?

A.

Surety Refrigeration

Q?

Can I lease more than one icemaker?

A.

Of course! For example, you may want to have one type of ice in the cocktail lounge and a different type of ice for general foodservice.
